How To Find The Perfect Pole Retreat

Barcelona Pole & Yoga Camp
This pole and yoga camp is held in Barcelona, Spain for seven nights from 20th-27nd June.
You'll enjoy six days of yoga and pole with VeeNiz, Raphaella and guest intructor Magnus Labbe who is the current US aerial champion and appeared as a finalist on You've Got Talent Denmark.
There is plenty of free time to explore, have massages or book private classes.
The package incudes a welcome dinner and drinks at reception, parties and city excursions with up to 25 hours of pole training, daily yoga and stand up paddleboard yoga.
You can choose to book for 4 nights without accomodation or 7 nights with accomodation, including final night stay on the Costa Brava.
With fifteen poles available there will never be more than two people per pole. Individual workshops included will depend on the package you choose.
Fantastic Pole & Sea Camp
Fantastic Pole and Sea Camp is already done for this year as this week marks the final week of their packages.
With that said though it will probably run next year, so it's one to watch if you're already done planning this year's holidays.
There were six day packages available over the months of January, February and March in Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka with pole champions Kira Noire, Loa Koalita, Natalia Tatarintseva and Evgeny Greshilov.
This camp is jam packed with amazing things to see and do as well as yoga sessions and up to twelve hours of pole per week!
Kalpitiya is most popular because it is frequently visited by whales and dolphins, as well as being a top destination for kitesurfing with consistent windy weather.
Accessable by boat nearby is Wilpattu national park which is home to thirty different species of mammals including buffalo, deer, crocodiles, bears, elephants and leopards.
Included in the package are pole workshops, a choice of kitesurfing or safari and dolphin watching, six nights accomodation and food, yoga and stretch classes, one thirty minute massage, a photo shoot and a cooking class.
There are also activity packages available for non-pole dancers to enjoy including options for scuba diving, kayaking, Paddle boarding, cycling, tours and plantations.

Mystique Pole Camp Thailand
Mystique Pole Camp is held in Pattaya, Thailand for seven nights from 23rd-30th of July.
Each day is packed with workshops from Dmitry Akimenko, Bethany Finlay, Amy Hazel and Anastasia Skukhtorova with Thursday's schedule free to explore the local area.
Set in a professional studio in Pattaya there are 11 competition grade X-Poles and accomodation is close to the beach.
Close to Bangkok, Pattaya was the first beach resort development in Thailand in the 60's and there is both a premium and budget option for accomodation.
The nearby hillside Wat Phra Yai Temple has an 18 metre tall golden Buddha and you can also visit The Sanctuary of Truth, an all wooden temple overlooking the sea.
There is an entry fee for the Sanctuary of Truth including a free dance performance. There are side attractions at an extra cost including boat rides, horse and cart ride.
Be sure to organise transport back to Pattaya with your taxi and grab the phone number for this trip as the Sanctuary will charge double to take you back into the town.
If you fancy spending your free day somewhere else, there are also nine beautiful islands near by which are great for snorkelling, scuba, windsurfing and much more!
Budapest Pole Training & Retreat
This pole retreat is held in Budapest, Hungary for five nights from April 30th until May 5th.
You'll be rubbing elbows with an array of pole champions, burlesque choreographers and nutritionists. The current list of trainers is subject to change.
Here is the current guest instructor lineup:
Barbara Palmaffy, Elena Artamonova, Elena Shishkova, Ilka Bardoczy, Akos Presinszki, Kay Penneyand Alma Pirner. Sue Thompson, Livia Francis, Elizabeth Gerrard & Nicola Burke, Yvette Dusol & Jade Tinkler, Dawid Skowronek, Cheryl Teagann, Michael Donohoe and Sam King.
The package includes five days of pole training, four hours per day and workshops with Wednesday afternoon free for sight seeing, spa and shopping.
One to one and specialist workshops are available to book at an extra cost and all accomodation is self catering.
Included in the schedule are a variety of lessons on pole tricks and choreography, ballet pole, stretch class, floorwork, pole circuit conditioning, meditation, yoga, pilates and an introduction to bikini and bodybuilding workshops.
Available at an extra cost are lap dancing and sexy 'Martini Glass' workshops, personal diet and training consulatations, site seeing, massage and private training.
Optional accredited pole fitness instructor training certifications are available from 27th-30th of April before the retreat.
Pole Camp Dubai
This years pole camp in the luxury destination of Dubai, UAE featured pole stars Anastasia Skukhtorova and Phoenix Kazree for seven days of intensive pole workshops.
This is another camp that has just passed having been held from 12th-18th of march but it's another great one to watch for next year's holidays!
It offers enought time to both train hard and enjoy the Dubai experience, getting to know the local culture in the city while working on your pole skills.
The camp is held at Pole Fit Dubai, an aerial arts academy in Dubai Marina. You can enjoy sightseeing along the coastline, head to the beach, go shopping, experience world class cuisine and enjoy a buzzing nightlife.
The whole package starts with twelve workshops over the week in pole, silks, twerkshops, stretching and acro yoga.
It includes a desert safari with dune bashing, camel rides, desert camping, henna painting, buffet and live entertainment, a goody bag on the house and ladies night out with three free drinks!
Summer Pole Camp
At Summer Pole Camp in Ibiza Town on the Balearic Islands in Spain, you can enjoy seven nights from 18th-25th of June with Evgeny Greshilov and Kira Noire.
Package includes a flight from Zurich (Switzerland), half-board accomodation, workshops, the 'white party' and the 'red party' where there will be a showcase.
Beach photoshoots are available at an extra cost as well as workshops, including a 30 minute shoot and all of your pictures on a disc.
Close to the beach resort of Playa d'en Bossa, the retreat also offers the option to take a basic pole fitness instructor certification.
The nearby beach has great watersports facilities and there are an array of nightclubs, restaurants and bars available.
There is also a regular bus to Las Salinas, another popular sandy beach.
Pole Festival
Pole Festival is held from 12th-15th October. You'll enjoy three nights in Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia with Jamilla Deville, Miss Filly, Suwasit, Jordan Kensley, Brandon Grimm & Samantha Star.
Packages are available with or without accomodation and include a welcome dinner and pole on the first night, three breakfasts and lunches, entry to all Pole Festival activities a t-shirt and a goody bag.
Included in the price is a workshop with every instructor at the festival, there will be six pole and six non-pole workshops available.
The exact schedule for this year has not been set but there is also a partner package available for you to bring your muggles along =)

Alex Pole Camp
Enoy a week or weekend away in Lloret de Mar, Barcelona, Spain with Alex Shchukin!
Alex has four weeks to choose from between May 29th and June 25th and you can opt for a full week or just book for the weekend.
Here are the dates available;
- Week 1 - 29th May - 4th June (Weekend starts 1st June)
- Week 2 - 5th - 11th June (Weekend starts 8th June)
- Week 3 - 12th - 18th June (Weekend starts 15th June)
- Week 4 - 19th - 25th June (Weekend starts 22nd June)
Depending on which week you choose to jet off there are a variety of people to learn from across different dates.
You'll have the opportunity to be taught by Alex Shchukin, Travis Scott, Doris Arnold, Katia Shchukina, KYR KAZAKY, Joshiah Badazz, Eva Bembo, Rafaela Montanaro, Natasha Wang, Yuliya Bozina, Radmila Aitova and Anastasia Skukhtorova.
The package begins your week with dinner and a welcome party on the beach with all inclusive cocktails and X-Stages!
The schedule includes three workshops per day and you'll have the option to book privates with any of the instructors who are there during your stay.
A professional pole photographer will be available for photoshoots in the camp and if you book a full week you'll also visit the city with a two hour stop at a studio with flying poles!
You'll also have dinner in the hotel there when you arrive and if you book for the whole week you'll also get an extra party on the beach with those all inclusive drinks when the weekend arrivals check in.
Pole Camp Corfu
Pole Camp Corfu in Greece promises lots of pool and sun bathing time, sightseeing, cocktails and more.
There are six different dates available to book for a seven night stay from 7th May - 18th June.
The week you book will determine which guest instructor you'll be learning from with Cheryl Teagann, Sam King, Sally ann Giles and Heidi Hildersley in the lineup.
There is the opportunity to book for two weeks at an extra cost if you stay between weeks three and four.
The package includes accomodation for seven nights, transfers to and from the airport, a welcome evening and up to three hours of pole per day.
Additional classes in PoleSilks, PST and Hoop are available and you'll have the option to book private pole lessons with guest instructors.
Also included is a complementary evening trip to Corfu Town and a visit to a famous sunset lookout point.
Not only that, but Pole Suspension Training and PoleSilks Instructor Training will be available to book and there is a reduced cost package if you would like to bring your partner.
Pole Expo
Probably one of the biggest events in the pole calendar is the Las Vegas Pole Expo!
It takes place this year from 6th - 10th of September at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
The expo opens with a Pole Star Showcase, Pole Classic Competition and a huge array of workshops with almost anyone you could imagine.
There are too many special guests to list them all!
In the Electric Vendor Arena you'll find a marketplace of pole products from some of the industry's leading designers.
Pole Expo was voted 'The #1 Event of The Year' by Volare Pole and Aerial Arts Magazine, and if you decide to make the trip you'll enjoy seeing all of your favourite pole stars.
Hotel accomodation is in the Hard Rock Hotel where Expo ticket holders can book their stay with a special discount.
Each year there are a limited number of workshop passports available for first refusal of workshops, but these have already sold out for this year's event. If that's something you're interested in you'll need to check in early for next year!
Sensuality Fair & Croatia Pole Camp
There are two events in Croatia, one in April and another at the end of September.
The first from 21st - 23rd April is the Sensuality Fair, where you can spend three nights in Rovinj, Croatia with Alethea Austin and Vane Lunatica.
The Sensuality Fair package includes your accomodation and a breakfast buffet each morning, other packages including dinner and lunch are also availble.
You'll be provided with transport to and from the airport and enjoy three workshops of your choice with guest instructors and the option to book extra workshops is there too!
As a guest at the Sensuality Fair you'll have special discounts on tours, use of the spa and saunas, gym, beach access, a pool and yoga in the mornings.
The second event is Croatia Pole Camp, taking place from 28th September - 1st October for five nights in Pula with Josh Taylor, Daria Che and Nadia Sharif.
The Pole Camp package includes your accomodation, airport transfers and three workshops of your choice with guest instructors. A breakfast and dinner buffet is provided every day and package two also offers a lunch buffet.
Included is a ticket to Pole Art Croatia and transport to the theatre, a complimentary gift bag, beach access and pool.
The option to book extra workshops will be available and other activities include yoga, pilates, strength and flex classes and sensual pole classes.
Both events also have a partner package available for your non-pole friends and family, including breakfast and dinner buffets.
This package includes accomodation, a ticket to Pole Art Croatia and free sports activities.

Beach Pole
Hosted at Surf Moments House in Baleal, Peniche, Portugal is a pole and surf camp with flexible booking dates.
Beach Pole is ideal for groups who enjoy pole and would like to take surfing lessons, all you need to do is fill out their booking form with requests for details and dates!
Your host for this pole holiday is Carla Tome, a passionate surfer pole dancer of three years and surf photographer.
She's passionate about sharing the pole, surf and beach life with others and offers photoshoot and spotting as you learn from each other.
She also includes the option to hire a pole instructor for your daily lessons and surf lessons if those interest you too!
The main objective of this holiday is to enjoy a beach vacation and have fun pole jams whenever you feel like it!
You can play on the beach pole with a beautiful ocean view and stunning sunsets while lessons will be scheduled in the surf house.

Your package will vary depending on individual booking requests but generally your offer includes pole lessons, villa accomodation and photoshoots either in the surf house or on the beach!
Australian Pole Expo
The Australian Pole Expo is held from 24th - 26th November in Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia with Carlie Hunter, Gracie Buntine, Bethany Finlay and Amy Hazel.
The Expo features an amazing weekend full of pole, doubles, acro, choreography, dance, strength, conditioning and flexibility.
The weekend Gold package includes twelve workshops with guest instructors, dinner, shopping at pole stalls, wristband, onsite events and a Gold ticket to the Australian Pole Championships.
The Platinum package also includes five Star buffet breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday and two nights five Star Accommodation at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney.
The International Pole Convention
Held in Atlanta, Georgia at the Hyatt Regency Hotel is The International Pole Convention from 1st - 4th June.
The event includes free non-pole workshops and seminars with pole workshops available to book. You'll have access to fifty pole stars, thirty pole vendors, the exhibitor hall and over twenty free workshops.
Included is a welcome reception on the opening night, lunch on the Friday and Saturday and breakfast on the Sunday.
You'll also enjoy all of the star performances with over one hundred performers attending!
The schedule has back to back workshops available to book throughout the weekend and a junior pass is available for children but they must be accompanied by a paying a parent or guardian at all times.
East Coast Pole Cruise
For something a little different you might enjoy a seven night luxury cruise hosted by the Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas!
The cruise docks in Sydney, Australia on March 5th 2018 and returns on March 12th.
They offer lots of workshops with your favourite pole stars, although the instructor lineup is yet to be announced.
Your ticket for the cruise includes seven nights accomodation, three meals per day, a Pole Cruise pack with goodies, workshops, entry to the Cocktail evening and showcase as well as other cruise events.
You'll enjoy unlimited access to all on board facilities and ports of call include Noumea, New Caledonia and Lifou, Loyalty Island.
At least two workshops with each of their guest instructors are guaranteed so there's no need to pick and choose!
You'll find amazing ameneties on board including VitalitySM Spa with over one hundred treatments, four pools, six hot tubs, a fitness center with yoga and tai chi classes and a poolside movie screen.
For the more adventurous there is a rock climbing wall, ice rink, mini golf course, basketball court, surf simulator and running tracks.
The cruise has speciality dining available at an additional cost with a steakhouse, Italian-style trattoria Giovanni's, Chops Grille and Izumi Japanese cuisine to choose from!

Brought to you by Cleo the Hurricane is Rock N' Pole High School, where Cleo is your headmistress!
You can head back to school from 28th - 30th July in Long Beach, California where you can become the teachers' pet.
There's a range of unique workshop experiences and you'll also enjoy a Super Heroes and Villains style prom night with food, drinks and photography provided.

With summer drawing closer I've been thinking a lot about holidays, and I think it would be great fun to mix that up to include some pole retreat time.
It's a great opportunity to explore places you might not have thought to visit and meet your favourite pole idols!
